The module "SpiClient" allows to complete the addressbook by introducing the organization as a main entry. It allows relations between organizations and relations with contacts from the addresswook. The module is completely integrated and takes over ergonomics and egroupware main functions : multi-language support, ACLs, links, etc.
The addressbook is missing some functions :
Our application SpiClient introduces clients and contracts to eGroupware. The module is a prerequisite for the ticket management module Spid and for some others (references, the spig suites, etc.). It is used when any organization is used for any of our module.
The module may also be used as such for clients and leads directory and to managed contracts.
The module also has a profile "sellers" : according to parameters, a seller will be able to consult "his" customers or contracts, or he will be have a readonly access to customers he is not in charge...
SpiClient contains functions usable in other modules (it allows to reduce the code) we talk about API, for instance :
- list of client (of a provider)
- list of active clients (of a provider)
- list of contracts of a customer
The access to the module is not necessary for the use in another module... It is possible to lock the creations of new clients for some users, etc.
If your organization is on several locations, you may define the location and/or the zone of the client.
The module uses eGroupware's filters and search tools, similar to those from the addressbook.
All elements in the module are coming from free parameters : types and status of organizations and contracts, locations, activity fields, payment terms, payment mode, etc.
