SpiSMS - Sending and loggin SMS from eGroupware
Purpose : to send SMS from eGroupware
The SMS application allows to send SMS using eGroupware's addressbook and web services from external providers as OVH. The SMS may be mass-sent, logged and displayed for everyone.
The SMS may be linked to other eGroupware's entries.
Here are some of SpiSMS key features:
- sending one SMS to one or serveral contacts
- automatically send a SMS based on the alarm set in the calendar event
- chaining some events with a SMS (such as a notification)
How does it work ?
The code triggers a webservice passing the accounts, phone numbers, contents, etc. The webservice returns a status which allows to display the status in the application...
Lifecycle of the SMS
- add & send a manual SMS to one or serveral contacts
- display the history in the application
- the user may link a SMS to another entry in eGroupware (events, infolog, etc.)
